“Working with and understanding

the muscular components

in Shoulder Problems and Injuries”

Ever sense you are one muscle away from your client getting off the table with a pain free shoulder?

November 20-21st, 2010

at the

Twin Falls Institute of Holistic Studies in Filer, ID

Get ready to explore the workings of the Shoulder ....

We will presents techniques and protocols that include:

  • How to specifically reposition misplaced tissue

  • How to identify and release adhesions within soft tissue structures and layers

  • How to quickly correct soft tissue distortion

  • How to recognize and address adaptive compensation

  • How to decipher the clues the body is revealing

  • Understanding its role in the health and function of the elbow and wrist

How many of your clients experience 'upper back/trapezius tension'? Consider the possibilities that a distortion, adhesion, and/or spam within the Serratus is creating a tension that the upper trap is responding to....maybe the Trapezius is an innocent bystander, simply in a tug-o-war with the Serratus!!!!!

The learning process is intended to aid you in...

  • Developing and heightening your awareness of the many associations within the body, for example... the relationships of structure to function to repair to maintenance.

  • Increasing and enhancing your tactile vision...the ability to not only target a specific muscle but to see it in your minds eye.

These classes include both a regional and a specific in-depth precision focus on the appropriate anatomy.

We begin with each student building a clay model of the joint and supporting tissue. As each muscle, tendon and ligament is assembled and attached, techniques to stretch, correct and manipulate that specific muscle will be presented, practiced, and reviewed.
